Did you ever wish you knew a Gypsy Healer, a Folk Witch who lived in a little cottage in the woods, or a beautiful Voodoo Priestess down by the Bayou?
Well, so did I! I’ve always wanted a wise woman to turn to when times were tough and I needed some ancient earth wisdom to pull me through. In my mind she would be a blend of all three, holding the sacred truths from all corners of the planet. Possessing the best, most magical qualities from each archetype. Over the years I’ve encountered many such women who embody aspects of this. They’ve shared, helped and healed many throughout their lives.
My goal here is to take my inspiration from these women and weave them into an idea that we, as women, can all have this or be this in our lives right now.
This is the basis for Folk Magic, and the community that supports us.
I’ve always said that when I grow up (still workin’ on it! haha), I want to live in a cottage with a magnificent garden full of magical healing herbs, many animal familiars and loved ones, and a welcoming generous space to share. I would also possess the ability to manifest, heal and create beauty through the wisdom of nature.
We’ve all seen examples of women as they age becoming invisible, non-sexy and insignificant. I say let’s reclaim our wisdom and all the precious gifts we have to share. Maiden, Mother & Crone, each phase is incredibly significant and possesses its own magic.
Let’s embrace a life of Folk Wisdom & Magic. We can rewrite our own Folk Story to be one where Beauty, Kindness, Acceptance and Deep Love reign. A sanctuary for those who are in need of inspiration and seeking the support of a Wise Woman.
I think there is a little witch in all of us. We naturally want to nurture, intuit, and understand the subtle magic that flows all around us. There’s no longer any need to practice these things in secret out of fear. We can come out of the broom closet and have the lives we choose to create with the help of Folk Magic.

Folk Magic is located in Northern California on 10 acres of farm & forest. We grow many of the herbs used in the products and are pesticide-free. Our ingredients are sourced organically, ethically and locally. We only use pure natural essential oils and organic herbs in our blends. No perfumes, chemicals or dyes. Due to the organic nature of our products, there may be variations from batch to batch. FM strives to use minimal eco-friendly packaging whenever possible.
Each product has been charged with good energy and lots of love.
